Living Skin with More Colors with UselessWizard

$40.00

In this class, we’ll discuss and practice ways to paint skin that appears healthy and full of life. Using typical skin-toned paints does a good job for simple skin, and adding additional colors can enhance the appearance of vivid life to improve the overall appearance of your skin tones. We’ll use techniques like underpainting, glazing, and layering to achieve this effect on multiple skin tones.

Required Skills: This effect is recommended for beginning to intermediate painters who are comfortable with painting skin tones, including highlighting and shading. A miniature will be supplied to each student and a printed handout for each student to take home for reference. Appropriate paints and basic brushes will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring a size 1 or 2 brushes they are comfortable with.
